Susan Grossey has made the world of Regency crime her own: good old-fashioned storytelling, with a tantalising beginning, an adventurous middle, and a wonderfully dramatic ending, which add up to, quite simply, compelling reading.

Welcome to my website. I am the author of the Sam Plank Mysteries – seven historical crime novels set in London in the 1820s. I am now working on the Cambridge Hardiman Mysteries series: five novels set in my home town of Cambridge, again in the 1820s (but more provincial and old-fashioned than the great metropolis). The first in this series – Ostler – was published in 2023, and the second – Sizar – will be published on 5 December 2024 (and is already available for pre-order as an e-book from Amazon).

As you can see, I am very keen on the late Regency period, for all sorts of reasons. You can read more about that on the Late for My Own Regency page. And if you want to know how I came to be so interested in financial crime, all is explained on the About Susan page.

If you have any questions or just want to say hello, please contact me via the Contact page.
