Welcome to my website. I am the author of the Sam Plank Mysteries – seven historical crime novels set in London in the 1820s. I am now working on the Cambridge Hardiman Mysteries series: five novels set in my home town of Cambridge, again in the 1820s (but more provincial and old-fashioned than the great metropolis). The first in this series – Ostler – was published in August 2023, and the second – Sizar – in December 2024. The third – Whipster – will be published in early December 2025.
